Stacey Lasseter
Welcome. Whether you’re clear about why you’re seeking support or still figuring it out, I’m here to help. I specialize in working with emerging adults and college students navigating the challenges that come with this stage of life — identity shifts, academic or social stress, relationship uncertainty, and the pressure to “have it all together.” My goal is to create a safe, down‑to‑earth space tailored to your needs, whether you’re hoping to deepen self‑understanding, build practical coping tools, gain clarity in one or more areas of your life, or simply have a supportive place to talk and reflect. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, repetitive or limiting thought patterns, and relationship insecurity or disconnection.
Kara Harlow
In my practice I work with older adolescents and adults, focusing on personal awareness, empowerment, building skills for navigating life stressors, and enriching personal relationships. I have over 15 years of experience working in the areas of addictions, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship development. Together we will explore patterns and choices that contribute to your accomplishments and struggles. We will work towards self-awareness while remaining solution-focused, and will use the strengths you already possess to build more skills for managing the challenges that life brings.
Tanya Chen
As a psychologist I work with clients from a collaborative and respectful place to explore what is and what is not working in their lives. I identify as an East Asian cis woman and a child of immigrants. My experiences help me to bring an intergenerational, sociocultural approach to my work. This means that I think of how our struggles may not just be an individual issue, but may be rooted in our culture, environment and family background. I provide individual therapy to adults and adolescents in both English and Japanese. Some areas of specialty include relationship issues, self esteem issues, life transitions, stress, anxiety, mood issues (depression), family issues, cross cultural adaptation and intergenerational trauma.

I have experience with trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and relational problems. My passion for working with diverse populations led me to pursue the Global Mental Health: Immigration and Trauma Certificate from Harvard University. I strive to see my clients beyond their diagnoses and to raise awareness of the societal and cultural challenges that may prevent them from fulfilling their true potential I work best with high-achieving individuals who may appear successful outwardly but feel overwhelmed or uncertain internally. Helping you feel comfortable and seen is my priority. I believe that true growth cannot happen outside of a warm, safe relationship. There is so much happening for college students and having a judgement-free space to slow down, unpack thoughts/feelings and gain clarity/awareness can lead to immense empowerment and growth for young adults. I work at my client's pace and help them feel seen/validated in their experience while collaboratively addressing the difficulties together. Celebrating any feeling of success, no matter how small, is crucial! Therapy is not all about the hard things, but also about noticing the good when we can so easily be weighed down by the struggles. Thanks for considering me and I look forward to connecting with you!

Sometimes pain is overwhelming, especially as a young adult. You might be feeling sad, worried, or like no one else in the world understands. Maybe you are struggling in school or work, or having a hard time making friends. Or maybe you are in a difficult family situation, or are completely overwhelmed by what you want your future to be like. Regardless of where your pain is from, you may be noticing things like withdrawing from others or even physically harming yourself because you haven’t found better ways to cope with your feelings. Or maybe you’ve just noticed that you’re having more anxiety or sadness than usual. However you are experiencing your pain right now, I welcome the opportunity to work with you to form new patterns and explore the pain that lies underneath your current ones. Difficulties in life sometimes can’t be avoided, but you don’t have to face them alone. If we work together, you will have the opportunity to explore your thoughts and emotions in a caring atmosphere. We can think together about what might best help you work through the difficulties you are facing so that you can begin creating a life for yourself that is both enjoyable and fulfilling. I like to find creative ways to help you express your thoughts and what you need. For some people that can be talking about thoughts and feelings directly and learning about coping skills, but it can also include artwork or even finding memes that resonate with you. One of my goals is to use what you already enjoy and find helpful to personalize our work to fit you. My sessions are feedback-informed. During our first session, we will talk about which approaches might work best for you and talk about what our future sessions might look like. Throughout our work together, we will check in about what is working well and what changes you might want to make to help our time to feel more effective and supportive. I invite you to explore my website for more information on working with me as well as my background and training. I welcome you contacting me with questions or to talk about if I might be a good fit to work with you.
