Krishna Dewashrayee
I work with adults who are navigating depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma-related concerns, substance use, and other mental health challenges. In my work with patients in recovery, I've used cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing to motivate and support individuals in understanding their mental health needs and identifying their strengths, while teaching them tools to build a more fulfilling life. I've had the privilege of working with individuals from various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, including young adults, seniors, and veterans. My passion in mental health is helping my patients feel empowered and encouraged. I want my patients to create a compassionate space for themselves that allows them to heal and grow. I'm committed to empowering patients to lead their own lives by building new skills and using a practical, whole-body approach they can implement in their day-to-day life. I make it a priority to learn about my patients' past experiences, goals, and beliefs about treatment and medications to guide their treatment goals. The key to a successful therapeutic relationship is trust, respect, and a non-judgmental, safe space for collaboration. My goal is to help my patients gain independence and control over their treatment plan.
Ari Shesto, PhD
I affiliate with cognitive behavioral approach to treatment (CBT), as well as acceptance commitment therapy (ACT). As a CBT and ACT therapist, my approach is distinguished by forward-looking, positive and goal-oriented approach, with the ultimate outcome of providing you with a set of skills improving your life. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you are returning to therapy, I'm so glad that you are considering making this choice. My approach to therapy focuses a large part on the relationship. It is important for me to get to know what is important to you, what your values are, and what might be causing you stress. Every person deserves an approach that is tailored to their unique set of strengths and challenges. I pull from a variety of therapy approaches and I find that my role in this process is most effective when we work collaboratively to explore the factors that are bringing you to therapy together.
James Graceffo
My approach to psychotherapy is integrative and responsive to the needs of each individual person within the general contexts of multicultural sensitivity and a strong therapeutic relationship. I have extensive experience working and training in University Counseling Centers (i.e., Penn State University Graduate Assistant, Pre-doctoral internship at Suffolk University, Post-doctoral Fellow at Tufts University followed by three years as a Staff Psychologist at Tufts). My clinical interests include college student mental health, in general; stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal concerns, drug and alcohol use/misuse/abuse; Men’s issues; Childhood trauma; Working with students on the Autism Spectrum; Identity concerns; Relationship concerns; Issues of diversity and inclusion.

Srilekha Mahi Vangala
As humans, we inherently seek meaningful connection and understanding. When our emotions, experiences, and struggles go unseen or unheard, we may feel distressed, isolated, and even question our sense of self. In my practice, I take an integrative, client-centered, trauma-informed, and evidence-based approach to therapy—one that honors the complexities of your lived experiences while affirming your individuality. Rooted in the principles of social justice, embodied social justice, anti-oppression, and queer affirmation, my work ensures that therapy is not just a space for healing but also one for empowerment. I believe that understanding ‘what’ has shaped your experiences offers insight into ‘why’ you might think, feel, and behave the way you do. This awareness allows us to collaboratively explore ‘how’ we can help you achieve your goals and foster meaningful growth – holistically. Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment." I am committed to providing a space where you feel truly seen, understood, and comfortable—one where you can explore, embrace, and reconnect with your most authentic self.

Windward Mental Health
At Windward Mental Health in Dedham, we’re here for college students from the surrounding towns—think Wellesley College, Babson, Lasell University, or Regis College—who are navigating the chaos of student life while wrestling with mental health struggles. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is perfect for students like you—maybe a Wellesley undergrad feeling crushed by perfectionism, a Babson entrepreneur battling anxiety that’s tanking your focus, or a Lasell student quietly dealing with depression after a rocky semester. We connect best with those who are juggling classes, part-time jobs, or campus activities, but are hitting a wall with stress, mood swings, or even past tough experiences that keep creeping back. We thrive with students who want to tackle things like overwhelming worry, low energy, or habits they’ve picked up to cope—like too much drinking or scrolling—that aren’t helping anymore. You might be someone who’s sick of faking it through group projects or dorm hangouts, or who’s reeling from a big life shake-up, like losing a friend or failing a class you worked hard for. Our clients often just want to feel steady again—to get back to crushing that presentation, enjoying a night out, or even just sleeping without overthinking everything. Right off Route 128 in Dedham, we’re an easy trip from Needham, Westwood, or Newton, with a schedule that works around your college life—daytime sessions that let you still make that afternoon lecture or evening shift. Whether you’re the overachiever who’s burned out, the quiet one hiding how rough it’s been, or the social butterfly who’s lost your spark, our IOP gives you a judgment-free spot to figure it out with a team that gets what being a student around here is like. If you’re ready to take charge of your mental health and still keep your college groove, we’re here to help you feel stronger and more like yourself.
