Are you feeling overwhelmed? anxious? depressed? Is your mind racing and your body tense? Wonder why you can't just feel happy? Therapy looks a lot like a conversation with a good friend. But the gift is that it's a one-way friendship where it's all about you! You get to talk about whatever you want and need to say. I get to listen carefully, reflect what I hear to make sure you feel understood, affirm and encourage your strengths, and ask questions to clarify or help you think more deeply about your concerns. I have significant experience working with anxiety, depression, interpersonal concerns, and wellness goals. I believe that you are the expert on you, but we all need help to move through this life. I can offer you support, encouragement, an outside perspective, and space to explore. While life presents challenges, I believe that you are fundamentally strong and resilient. I'd love to partner with you on your journey. Please reach out and let's see if we'd be a good fit together.

I specialize in supporting individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds as they navigate major life transitions, anxiety, self-esteem, assertive communication, and relationship building. My therapy services cater to individuals ranging from 7 years old to adulthood, providing individual, parent, and family therapy. Sessions with me are crafted to explore the underlying motivations behind behaviors, fostering a non-judgmental mindset, and aligning actions with goals of self-efficiency, regulation, mindfulness, and fulfillment. In group settings, I work with elementary, middle, and high schoolers, as well as young adults, to introduce coping skills, promote positive interactions, and address challenges related to executive function. I utilize art, play, and talk therapy techniques to empower clients to reach their full potential. I am particularly passionate about supporting parents in managing role balancing and enhancing family communication, empowering them to model healthy behaviors for their children. My aim is to create an environment that reduces stigma surrounding mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders, promoting open dialogue and understanding. I operate as an out-of-network provider. Individual sessions are priced between $120 and $175, depending on the appointment time. Sessions scheduled between 10 AM and 1 PM on Mondays through Thursdays are priced at $120, while appointments between 3 PM and 5 PM are $175. Our office provides superbills for potential insurance reimbursement.

As a licensed clinical psychologist, Gershom Lazarus draws from a background in physiology, neuropsychology, and clinical psychology to provide an integrated approach to assessment and treatment. He currently practices as a partner of IPD, an institute established over 40 years with offices in Georgia and Florida. Dr. Lazarus initially came to the United States as an international student and can relate to some of the seemingly unrelenting challenges facing students currently. The primary approach to providing care is rooted in developing an understanding of contributing factors at the physiological, neurological/neuropsychological, and psychological levels within the context of an individual’s behavioral and societal functioning. Each session aims to focus on understanding and psycho-education regarding the presenting issues, exercises for between sessions designed to practice strategies developed in-session, and ultimately “real-world” applications targeting areas of concern. While the initial focus tends to be managing the main areas of concern, the importance of growth and meaning are gradually introduced.

I welcome clients 20+ with life issues including anxiety, life transitions, self-compassion practice, family/relationship/boundary issues, self-esteem, stress of parenthood. If you feel burnt out, like you are doing too much, and that saying "no" feels overwhelming to consider, I might be a good fit for you. In addition to psychotherapy, I received training in Mindfulness and Meditation which helps with anxiety, emotional awareness, and self-compassion. I also use DBT skills training because I find that some behavioral work can be useful depending on each client's therapeutic process. I look forward to joining you in your journey when you are ready.

We are Living Fully Psychological Services, but affectionately call ourselves Living Fully Therapy. Dr. Pegah Moghaddam is the owner and founder of Living Fully. We provide therapy online and in-person at an office located in Atlanta, Georgia, within walking distance of Emory University. Our psychologists and therapists specialize in therapy for trauma, anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, eating disorders, and sleep. With life experience comes pain, loss, and suffering. Healing, growth, and change are a result of processing these painful experiences in a non-judgmental and compassionate way. At Living Fully Therapy, we provide unique therapeutic services. Our goal is to learn about and understand your unique history and life path with openness, compassion, acceptance, and patience. We will teach you to do the same for yourself, as these factors are necessary to the process of change and ultimately to live fully. From there, we will determine where you'd like to go and the most effective process to achieving your goals. We are honored to facilitate your journey toward living fully. Please note that we are an out-of-network, non-preferred provider with Aetna student health insurance for Emory students. If you are enrolled in the Emory University Student Health Insurance Plan (EUSHIP), you will need a referral from Emory Student Health Services to Living Fully before starting sessions. You will need one referral per academic year (which begins each August 1). The 2023-2024 EUSHIP has a $750 deductible for non-preferred providers, which you will typically meet within your first 5-6 sessions at Living Fully. After your deductible is met, you will pay approximately $85 per session.
