Michele Knecht
**Telehealth Only**
Navigating life's ups and downs can feel like trying to assemble furniture with missing instructions, right? That's where I come in. I'm here to help you find those missing pieces and build a life that feels more sturdy and fulfilling. As a therapist, I utilize evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you process through past, present, and future challenges. Think of me as your guide, armed with a toolkit of strategies and a healthy dose of humor (because sometimes, you just have to laugh).
In our sessions, you'll find a safe and supportive environment where you can openly explore your experiences. I specialize in working with adults 18 and up, addressing a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, substance use, work or school issues, parenting struggles, building healthy relationships, boundary setting, trauma, and grief. I'm also a proud LGBTQ+ ally, committed to providing inclusive and affirming care. My goal is to help you develop the skills and resilience you need to thrive, while offering warmth, compassion, and maybe even a few well-timed jokes along the way.
